What is PayToEat?

PayToEat is an app for ordering food and drinks from your local restaurants. It provides three types of ordering: Delivery, Take Away and Eat In.

What is Delivery?

Delivery means that you order your food & drinks from the restaurant, together with a delivery time & address, and we will bring you your order at the given place at the requested time.

What is Take Away?

When ordering Take Away, you choose a pick-up time in advance and then arrive at that time at the restaurant, where your food & drinks will be waiting for you all wrapped, so you can immediately take them with you.

What is Eat In?

Eat In means that you are ordering in advance to eat directly at the restaurant, together with picking your preferred time. When you later arrive at the restaurant at this time, your food & drinks will be ready for you and you can enjoy them in comfort immediately. No more waiting until you get the waiter’s attention, waiting for the menu or preparation of your food. You also save time after you are done as there is no need to wait for your bill - it has already been paid when ordering. Yey!

Do I pay for my order in advance?

Yes, it is only possible to pay in advance. This saves you considerable time when ordering Eat In, since you can leave immediately after you have eaten your meal.

How does it work?

Pick your preferred restaurant in the app and choose meals & drinks from its menu. Select your order type (Eat In, Take Away or Delivery) and time to eat. Complete your order and you will shortly receive a confirmation from the restaurant, including the time when your food shall be ready. Once in the restaurant at the informed time, provide your order number (shown in the app after the payment) and the restaurant will bring you the order. Enjoy! Once done eating, you are free to leave without a notice as the bill has been already paid. Freedom, yey!

Where can I use PaytoEat?

We are currently active in Trnava, Slovakia, and you will find us in other towns soon. You can see all the restaurants that are using PayToEat within the app.

What do I need if I want to order a meal through PayToEat?

To be able to use PayToEat, you need only our app, internet and location access, and your payment details in order to complete the order.

Do I have to register if I want to use PayToEat?

There is no need to register. Anyway, it offers you a bunch of advantages, including a filtered search feature, saving your favourite meals and restaurants, management of addresses and methods of payment, order history as well as the option to repeat a past order, everything for a more comfortable and quicker ordering experience.

Ordering

How do I find a restaurant that I can order from?

All the restaurants in your area which offer PayToEat are marked on the map. You can scroll through the whole list in the bottom bar, where the restaurants are ordered from the closest one to the furthest.

How quickly do I get the food when I select the option „ASAP“?

ASAP (as soon as possible) means that the restaurant will try to get your order ready as fast as they can, and after you have ordered, they will send you a specific time when, within the next 60 minutes, they will be able to do so.

Similar applies to Delivery, except for the 90 minutes time-frame instead.

How do I find out if the restaurant really received my order?

As soon as the restaurant confirms your order, the confirmation and the specific time when your order will be ready are going to be displayed in the app. The status of your order is visible all the time, so you always know what is going on.

Which methods of payment can I use?

You can choose to pay by card or via Google Pay/Apple Pay.

Is it possible to pay for the food once I get it?

No. In order to successfully complete the order, you need to confirm the payment. One of the main advantages of PayToEat is that once you have ordered, you need nothing else but to simply enjoy your meal – ‘you pay to eat and that is it’!

Do I get charged for using PayToEat?

No. Downloading the app and its usage is completely free.

What is the minimum order value?

You need to order for at least 0.5€.

How much do I pay for the delivery?

The delivery fee depends on the specific restaurant you are ordering from.

Are the prices in the app identical with those that the restaurants show in their menu?

Yes.

Is it possible to cancel my order?

If, for any reason, you need to cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible at our customer service line or write us an e-mail at orders@paytoeat.com. You can find the contact details under the Help button, which you will see after completing the order.

Can I edit my existing order or add something to it?

Once the order has been paid, it can no longer be modified. You will need to make an additional order if you wish to add something.

Can I give a service tip to the restaurant?

Yes, in the basket right under your selected meals, you will find an option to add a service tip of your preferred value.

Problems with the order

The order has been completed but I still have not received a confirmation.

The restaurant should be able to confirm your order shortly. In case it is taking too long, please contact the restaurant or us through the Help button, which you will find in the app once you have paid for your order. Your feedback is very important to us, so that we can continue to improve and make sure that our customers are fully satisfied.

What can I do if I still have not received my meal?

Firstly, check the delivery time and the current time. The driver may just be on the way and it is possible that they will make it to you on time. In case the delivery time is up, please contact the driver, the restaurant or us through the Help button, which pops up once you have completed the order. Your feedback is very important to us, so that we can continue to improve and make sure that our customers are fully satisfied.

I selected Take Away or At The Table but the food was not ready when I arrived. What can I do?

We do everything we can to prevent this situation. In case your food was not ready in the given time, please accept our apologies and inform the restaurant or us through the Help button, which you will see once you have completed your order. Your feedback is very important to us, so that we can continue to improve and make sure that our customers are fully satisfied.

What should I do if there is a problem with my food? For example, I received a different meal to what I ordered

We do everything we can to prevent this situation. In case your food was not what you wanted, please accept our apologies and let us know at orders@paytoeat.com explaining what we could have done better, together with the photos of the meal or drinks that you received. Your feedback is very important to us, so that we can continue to improve and make sure that our customers are fully satisfied.
